Dr. Manoj Kumar Sinha has joined N.I.T. Hamirpur as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering on 26.11.2018. Dr. Sinha has completed his Ph.D. from I.I.T. Delhi in January 2018 from the Department of Mechanical Engineering. He has worked in the area of Grinding Performance Improvement of Difficult-to-Machine Materials. Prior to his Ph.D., he had worked in Coal India Ltd. for three and half years as Assistant Manager. He had completed M.Tech. from I.I.T. Guwahati in Machine Design specialization. He had completed B.E. from N.M.U. Jalgaon in Mechanical Engineering. Dr. Sinha has a passion for learning, teaching, and research. His area of research is Sustainable Machining/Grinding of Difficult-to-Machine Materials/Superalloys/Ceramics, Metal Forming, and Additive Manufacturing.
