Dr. Mohd. Adil

Assistant Professor

Dr. Mohd. Adil works as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Management Studies, NIT-Hamirpur (H.P.). After doing his MBA, he earned his Ph.D. from Aligarh Muslim University. He was the recipient of prestigious fellowships (JRF & SRF) from University Grants Commission-India. His teaching and research interests broadly lie in the areas of marketing management and consumer behavior with especial emphasis on consumer perception, ethical consumption, service quality and self-service technology. His present research focuses on self-service technology, sustainable marketing, forced compliance and cognitive dissonance. Dr. Adil has to his credit research papers and chapters in SCI, ESCI, ABDC, and Scopus indexed journals/edited book. He has also presented papers in international and national conferences that include Indian Institute of Management-Ahmedabad; Indian Institute of Management-Calcutta; Indian Institute of Science-Bangalore (IISc- Bangalore); Indian Institute of Management-Kozhikode. Besides, being associated as "Editorial Manager" for Journal of Financial Services Marketing (Springer Nature), he is on the reviewer panel of reputed journals of Palgrave Macmillan, Elsevier, Springer, Emerald, Inderscience, etc. He has also reviewed research methodology book "Business Research Methods" by Cooper & Schindler, McGraw Hill.
