Associate ProfessorResearch interests/Areas- • Synthesis and Biological evaluation of analogues of mitoxantrone – As a potential Anticancer Agents • Interaction of mitoxantrone and its synthesised analogues with DNA sequences using 2D NMR, UV-Visible spectroscopy, Fluorescence spectroscopy, Cyclic voltametery, Viscosity and Molecular Modeling tools in order to design and develop new class of anticancer drugs. • Synthesis, Structural Study (using 1D NMR, FT-IR, Mass etc. spectroscopic tools), Biological study and field evaluation of Juvenile Hormone Analogues (Insect Growth Regulators) containing diverse structural features as a potential environment friendly green pesticides. • Computer Aided Molecule Design using DISCOVERY STUDIO (DST-SERB young scientist project), AUTO DOCK, GAUSSIAN, AMBER .18 (gifted by Dr. Davis Case Rutgers University) etc.
