Dr. Tapas Palai

Assistant Professor (Grade-I) & Head

Dr. Tapas Palai is currently serving as Assistant Professor (Grade-I) & Head in the Department of Chemical Engineering, NIT Hamirpur (H.P.). Prior to this, he also served as Assistant Professor in BIT Mesra, Ranchi. He has more than five years of teaching and research experiences. He received B. Tech. from University of Calcutta, Kolkata; M. Tech. and Ph.D. from IIT Kanpur, India. His research interest includes biochemical and bioprocess engineering, enzyme kinetics, smart polymers and membrane separation. Currently, he is handling one sponsored research project as Principal Investigator. He has published several research articles in the journals of national and international repute.
