Research Interests : Vibration Based Structural Health Monitoring: AE Based Identification of Source of Damage Location
Brief Research Profile : Current topic for Ph.D. research work: India is blessed with immense wind energy resources. Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE), Government of India and several state governments have been providing the necessary policy to support it. However, during operation, it has been observed that the connections of the wind tower and the blades are loosened because of time varrying loading. Hence it requires performance evaluation for uninterrupted power generation. The research work will focus on Monitoring the wind tower and blades to avoid the catastrophic failure of the structure and blades.
